CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER (CNM1)

sensory, and neurological disabilities at a medium and high level of
need. We provide individualised supports to promote well-being,
independence, and quality of life for all people who use our services.

in their own homes, in residential centres, in supported accommodation
and in respite facilities. Established in Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow in

the website** organisation funded by the HSE. We employ over **Apply
on the website** staff and operate in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Wicklow,
Limerick, Donegal, Kerry, Carlow, Waterford, Sligo, and Mayo.
We are looking to recruit 1 x **Apply on the website**-hour CNM1 in St
Patrick?s Cheshire Services, Tullow, Co. Carlow on a specific
purpose basis

THE ROLE
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Operating out of a social model of disability as a CNM1 you will have
responsibility for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation
of the care required to meet the physical, psychological, and social
needs of individuals with physical and neurological disabilities.
Duties include but are not limited to.
* Provide clinical and professional supervision and support to the
nursing and front-line care support teams
* Through strong leadership encourage excellence and promote
evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
* Have oversight of all clinical records and documentation,
including care plans and the management of clinical risk.
* Engage with external and internal stakeholders such as medical and
allied healthcare professionals and Cheshire Ireland clinical team.
* Actively contribute to ongoing improvements in the quality of care
in line with organisational policy, best practice, and regulatory
standards
* Deliver training as relevant to your role
* Commitment to your own personal and professional development
* Developing open, honest, and respectful relationships with others
and foster good working relationships within the team
* At all times handle information confidentially and in line with
data protection requirements.
* A commitment to the provision of quality services and to the
concept of working in partnership with service users to promote their

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE(S) WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
* In possession of a nursing qualification and registered with An
Bord Altranais
* A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience to Senior Staff
Nurse Level
* Have line management or supervisory experience
* Knowledge of and experience in working within HIQA regulatory
framework
* Evidence based decision making skills and experience in the
management and effective delivery of change
* Have experience in the development and delivery of training to
staff
* Evidence of personal and professional development
* Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel and
Outlook, and the ability to adapt to changing technology
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and
written
* In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in
the Republic of Ireland
* Ability to speak and write English fluently
This role provides care and support to individuals living in a
community service and you will be required to establish and maintain
relationships with individuals with disabilities that are based on
respect and equality and that promote their independence.
